...“the Greatest Grocery Store in America,” as I often say, in 1998 as a part-time cashier at the Roseville store and was promoted to a part-time manager role within two months. I was given the opportunity to work in many departments and roles at Roseville and eventually became the full-time evening manager in 2000 before becoming the company’s corporate trainer in 2005, a position I have held for the last 18 years.

I always viewed my time at Lunds & Byerlys as an extension of ministry, working bi-vocationally since day one. My role allowed me to directly help thousands of new team members over the years get started successfully with their new jobs, even seeing our new hire orientation program win a national award for the ‘best orientation training’ in the nation, and directly oversee our carryout, cashier, and department trainings for many years!

...I was able to meet and be mentored by many great leaders at the company, take part in heading up many leadership trainings at the company, lead the L&B Best Bagger competition in a fun and memorable way, helping lead seven of our Best Baggers to the national bagging competition in Las Vegas, and received our Brand Champion award in 2012 – being recognized for making a significant contribution to our brand, our values, and our success as an organization. It truly has been an amazing experience working for this company! My prayer is that over the last 25 years - my faith, passion, and compassion have left a lasting and positive impression on many of my team members and friends at Lunds & Byerlys.

...decision to make and in many ways, as I am sad to leave the company I have worked for, for many years, I am also so grateful for the years I was able to serve the Lund family, my team of colleagues, and new hires! I am excited to further pursue opportunities in ministry, launch the "Heart & Soul Project" and see what other things God has in store in the upcoming years!
