Update from the Pastor's Desk
Dear Church Family,
I hope you are doing well on this beautiful day! I wanted to update you as on Monday afternoon, I began to not feel well. Unfortunately, I tested positive today for Covid-19! So far my symptoms have been overall mild and I would appreciate your continued prayers. Some may have interacted with me for a prolonged period of time (within 6-feet and for longer than 15 minutes) and could put you at risk. With that being said, I just wanted you to be in the know.
Our team has also recently learned that another one of our members last weekend at Souls Church has also tested positive for COVID-19. Based on schedules and in discussion with the other confirmed positive member, we have contacted everyone that was in close contact with this other member during this weekend's timeframe and we do not believe most are at risk.
Because of privacy laws, we are not at liberty to share the name of the other member, but we can tell you that we are in contact with this person as well and are offering prayer and support during their recovery process.
As far as this weekend goes, obviously, Dana and I will not be there, but we are excited to share Pastor Dale Sisam will be in the house this coming Sunday to preach an encouraging message for all to hear. I am certain you will be blessed and refreshed! I look forward to being back in the saddle with everyone - healthy and whole on Sunday, November 21!
