What is online discipleship?

Our online discipleship topics allow you to engage in your faith - at your own pace, on-demand-  in the comfort of your home. If you are not able to join an in person life group, this is a great option for you. Whether you’ve been a Christian for 30 minutes or 30 years, God will meet you where you are and reveal something new.

  • The Bait of Satan: Offense is the bait that Satan uses to trap you. Impossible to avoid, but possible to overcome. John exposes the deceptive progression an offense leads you on and explains how to guard your heart without hardening your heart. He also warns of the dangers of isolation and the unrealistic expectations we place on those closest to us. You will have many opportunities to become offended. How you choose to respond will determine your destiny.

  • Called: What am I called and designed to do?  Through this online course, you will receive confidence regarding God’s calling on your life, courage to follow God faithfully in your calling, and clear vision to sustain you until your unique calling is fulfilled.

  • Hearing God: How do I learn to hear God's voice? God speaks at various times and in various ways. Of course, words are but one of His many forms of communication. When we discover the variety of methods in which He speaks, we’ll become more receptive to His voice.

  • The Holy Spirit: Jesus’s departure was for our benefit—making way for the Holy Spirit to be with us. Yet, many do not know who He is and why He is here. In this lesson, John demystifies the confusion around God’s Spirit and introduces us to the most ignored Person in the church—the Holy Spirit.

  • Killing Kryptonite: The church of today, aren’t living up to the standard set by the church in the book of Acts. But why? The reason is we have tolerated something that critically weakens us, as kryptonite weakens Superman. But before we discuss the problem, we must know our potential, which is nothing less than living in the fullness of Christ.

  • Let's Talk About Sex: A life of purity is a journey to rediscovering our humanity—one filled with beauty, freedom, and strength. Learn how the path of purity is not a destination; it’s a process of becoming—through which you’ll discover who God created you to be so that you’ll awaken to the life you were meant to live.

  • Money Made Simple: Money affects every area of our lives, yet it’s often one of the least talked-about subjects in homes, schools, and churches. In this lesson, see what the Bible says about finances and stewardship—offering a fresh perspective on financial stewardship.

  • Renew Your Mind: Instead, we must intentionally work toward renewing our minds by uprooting any beliefs that are rooted in lies and replacing them with God’s truth. When we do this, we’ll step into freedom and find our actions lining up with God’s best for our lives.

  • The Wilderness (How to follow God when you don't sense Him): Every believer will go through wilderness seasons where they cannot sense God’s presence and feel like they’re farther from His promises. It is tempting to give up during these seasons, but they are necessary times of preparation that enable us to walk in God’s promises when they are fulfilled. We must learn to discern these wilderness seasons and behave in them properly, so that we can partner with God’s purposes for them, receive the good He has for us in them, and move into seasons of fruitfulness again.

Whether you’re struggling to feel worthy, wrestling with fear, or longing to break old patterns, this study will equip you to silence the lies with God’s Word and unleash lasting transformation in Christ. 

  • Dating & Sex: The Bible doesn't tell us how to ask someone out and Scripture doesn't say what the perfect date would look like.  But God gives clear guidance on how we should treat our bodies and how we should treat others … including the opposite sex.  In these four youth Bible study sessions, Hayley and Michael DiMarco use practical and Biblical guidelines to help teens figure out how to build healthy relationships with the opposite sex.

  • Teens vs. Parents: What if you had the perfect relationship with your parents? The myth of a perfect family can lead to disappointment, frustration and anger.  There is no perfect family.  But many teenage students struggle with expectations and authority from their parents.   In these four youth Bible study sessions, Mark Matlock will give practical and Biblical instruction to teens to help repair and build healthy relationships with their parents.

  • Together: We are wired for relationships. But relationships are anything but easy to maintain—even close friendships can fall apart. In a world where people quickly write each other off, where isolation has become the norm, and marriages dissolve overnight, what is God’s hope for our relationships? Sadie and Christian Huff will dig into God’s Word to show us how to live holy and healthy lives together - with God, with our close circle, and in our community.
