“GO, GATHER ALL THE JEWS WHO ARE PRESENT IN SHUSHAN, AND FAST FOR ME... (ESTHER 4:16, NKJV)

Throughout scripture, we find numerous examples of people like you and me fasting and praying for a specific need, and then seeing God come through on their behalf.

In the book of Esther, we find the Jewish people at risk of being annihilated through the evil plot of a man named Haman.

Esther was faced with two life-threatening decisions: go un-invited before the king, or risk being killed through Haman’s plot if she didn’t.

So, Esther declared a fast.

“Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” Esther 4:16, NKJV

Miraculously, the king welcomed Esther.

Those three days of fasting altered history, the evil plot was discovered, and Esther’s entire family along with all of the Jewish people were saved.

Now, consider the needs of your family in this season. Similarly, God wants to bring rescue, deliverance, and favor to you and your loved ones just like He did through Esther!
