GOOD THINGS
January 26, 2024
“... HOW MUCH MORE WILL YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN GIVE GOOD THINGS TO THOSE WHO ASK HIM!” (MATTHEW 7:11, NKJV)
As you near the end of your fast, I want to remind you that the heart of your heavenly Father wants to richly bless His children.
Romans 8:32 (KJV) says, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”
“All things” means all things! If it’s promised in God’s Word, it’s God’s will—so refuse to settle for less. Keep pressing in and drawing near to your heavenly Father and His great heart of love.
Circumstances may change, seasons might shift, “But the word of our God stands forever” (Isaiah 40:8, NKJV). You can rest assured in Him because His word is settled in Heaven forever. (See Psalm 119:89.)
In Matthew 7:11, Jesus said, “How much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those that ask Him!” (NKJV).
Note the words “good things.”
If God says no, it’s not because He doesn’t love you but because He has something better in store for you.
God is with you, He is for you, and He has “good things” in your future - keep praying, fasting and believing!
