WHAT TO BRING: Heart ready to grow closer to God, your Bible (and notebook), your phone, pillow, bedding/sleeping bag, towel, toiletries, change of clothes and snack to share!
DETAILS: Follow the "Event" road signs to Timber Bay Lodge! Upon arriving, check-in at the registration table (follow the signs) to receive your name badge, room location, and weekend details! Dinner will start Friday evening at 6pm with the first session beginning at 7pm!

Meal Time
Timber Bay Retreat Center will provide full meals your entire visit. You’ll enjoy the healthy and fresh food made in their kitchen served family-style with separate salad, beverage and bread bars. Before each meal, we will gather for announcements, a prayer & chow time!!
Free Coffee, Hot Chocolate & Apple Cider
In the main lodge (The Great Room), there will be FREE fresh coffee, apple cider and hot chocolate for you anytime you would like!!!
Things To Do
Game rooms, libraries, hiking, fishing, swimming, kayaks, field games, yard games, frisbee golf, volleyball, basketball, firepits at every cabin, and more.
The Great Room
There are various locations and rooms on the grounds of the retreat center to get away, pray, wait on the Lord or just have some fun. Our main events and all meals will take place in the "Great Room" (pic below).
About the speakers...
Tom Herbert, Guest Pastor
Tom Herbert serves as the Lead Pastor at Freedom Community Church in Shrewsbury, PA, and also serves as a board member of Harvest Network and the National Field Director. Tom has a passion to see the body of Christ equipped and mobilized to fulfill her purpose and destiny. Tom and his wife Judy have four children and one grandchild and reside in York, PA.
Dennis Calhoun, Lead Pastor and Host
Dennis is the Lead Pastor at Souls Church, located in Princeton, MN. Dennis is passionate about Jesus, people and life! He and his wife have co-pastored Souls Church since 2011, a life giving church where our desire and prayer is to see people become fully engaged followers of Jesus. The Calhoun’s love kayaking and playing baseball/softball in the summer, drinking lots of Starbucks in the winter, shopping, good music, and date nights with one another, friends and family as much as possible! Dennis and his wife Dana reside in the north Twin Cities Metro Area and have one daughter, Jasmine.
About Timber Bay Retreat Center...
Timber Bay Camp & Retreat Center is a beautiful venue for our fall men's retreat!
- Hiking and mountain bike trails wind through over 360 acres of private trail (another 600 acres of public land are adjacent)
- Regulation size sand volleyball court (lighted)
- Half-court, hard surface basketball
- Large playing field available for football/soccer/softball and other games
- Horseshoes, softball, croquet, badminton and other yard games available
- 9-hole Frisbee golf course makes its way through the main camp area
- Northwood Hills Golf Course five minutes away
- Mountain boards (think skateboards for the woods)
- Down the road from launch fishing excursions on Mille Lacs Lake, Minnesota’s premier walleye lake
The cabins for you to stay in feature a:
- Stone fireplace
- Serving counter, sink, microwave, and refrigerator
- Main rooms that sleep 5-10 each
- Each room has private bathroom and shower
- Gas stove in each unit for atmosphere and warmth
