Final Walkthrough Event Reminders
(per the venue agreement)

1. Final Payment Terms

  • Damage Deposit: A refundable deposit of $500.00 (via check) is due 30 days before your event date. If there are no damages or alcohol violations incurred, the check will be discarded or returned 14 days after the event.

  • Security Payment: If alcohol is served at your event, Isanti County will provide security at $100/hr and will bill you directly following the event. The venue schedules and secures security personnel for you.

  • Any additional add-ons (hours, mosquito spray, salted parking lot, etc.) can be determined at your 30-day walkthrough.

2. Liability and Insurance

  • The Client(s) must provide proof of event insurance through their organization. The venue will confirm all coverage at the 30-day walkthrough.

3. Event Schedule 

  • The venue team will confirm your event timeline at the 30-day walkthrough.
  • You will have access to all buildings on the property beginning at 10:00 AM on your wedding day. If the rehearsal run-through is added to your rental, you will also have 2 hours of building access the day prior, with the time determined at your 30-day walkthrough.
  • All personal belongings must be removed from the grooms' and bridal lounges and chapel areas 45-minutes after your ceremony, before dinner service begins per liability requirements.
  • Alcoholic beverage service will conclude at 9:30PM after which no further alcoholic beverages will be served. This policy is in compliance with our venue policies and local regulations and is strictly enforced. DJ and entire event shuts down at 10:00PM.
  • The last dance is 9:30PM.
  • Cleaning and tear down must be complete by 10:00PM. We ask your party to remove all personal items and decorations from the venue by 10:00PM.
  • Please note: All guests are kindly requested to depart by 10:00PM to comply with venue policies.

 4. Guest Conduct

  • The Client(s) are responsible for the conduct of their guests and vendors during the event.
  • No alcohol is allowed in the bride's or groom's lounges at any time due to county ordinances and venue policies, or it will be confiscated, and you will lose your wedding damage deposit.
  • To ensure compliance with local regulations and maintain a safe environment, all alcoholic beverages must be served by our licensed and insured bartenders. Self-service of alcohol by the Client or guests is strictly prohibited. Alcohol service may commence only after the ceremony and upon the arrival of an Isanti County Sheriff's Deputy.
  • We reserve the right to terminate the event and/or remove individuals from the premises at any time if, in the judgment of the Facility staff, a guest exhibits excessive intoxication or engages in violent or disruptive behavior. In such cases, no refunds will be issued, and the Client remains responsible for any resulting damages or incidents.
  • We will provide venue staff on site during the entire period of your rental.

5. Signage & Marketing

  • We will set out 2 directional road signs on Hwy 95, entrance signs, parking lot signs, and event signage for you on the day of the event.
  • We may contact your photographer for access to a few highlighted photos for marketing purposes only.

6. General Guidelines and Policies

  • We ask all guests or clients to refrain from adjusting the air conditioning or heating settings in the reception hall and main church building during the ceremony and reception. If you find the temperature uncomfortable, please notify a member of our venue team. We are here to assist and will make every effort to accommodate your comfort needs.
  • Our caterer provides food for our venue staff and security, not charged to you.
  • The kitchen prep area is strictly off-limits to all guests and clients at all times. The only exception is for the bride, groom, and up to two designated individuals who are serving their own desserts or beverages (such as soda or water). In these cases, please coordinate with a member of our venue team to ensure proper access and assistance.
  • Our venue team will take care of all garbage, refill event supplies as needed, and check in all vendors as they arrive.
  • Use of campfire area is permitted, but client must provide the firewood and designate one person to start it, maintain it, and put it out.
  • We will have our team in the parking lot directing guests for parking.
  • Any slide shows for screens must be emailed to us on Google Slides or PPT show 14 days in advance (must be formatted 1920x1080 size).
  • Your DJ will be a huge help representing our venue - so we want to give him/her a list so they can announce throughout the event where bathrooms are, where smoking is and is not, and keep announcing the schedule for the day/night.
  • No parking in front of lounges or main reception area after unloading (see parking sheet) so vendors have access to the area for loading. All load-in/load-out instructions will be given to vendors.
  • No painting your nails with polish is allowed on the patio or concrete sidewalks.

7. Safety Procedures

  • The venue manager will be on site during your event and will brief any vendors and your wedding party/coordinator on any safety briefings as needed during your event.
  • A deputy will be on duty during events where alcohol is served.
  • For outdoor weddings, we have indoor contingency plans for inclement weather issues.
  • All vendors will be made aware of the Venue's Safety Plan ahead of your event.
  • The venue/church has an AED machine on the premises.
  • The reception room is equipped with fire extinguishers, which will be pointed out along with all exit doors at your final walkthrough.
  • Venue staff will monitor a weather app through sporadic monitoring during your event to be aware of any county or weather emergencies.
  • All emergency shelters and evacuation spots will be shared as needed at the 30-day walkthrough and posted in the main catering kitchen at the event info post.  
  • In the case of a tornado or strong winds, the sheltering options are very limited, and there are no basements. Guests will be relocated to the center of buildings, mechanical rooms, or other buildings on the property.
  • We cannot guarantee that a first responder will be present through our venue team during your event. The only first responder presence guaranteed is the assigned deputy required for events serving alcohol.
  • There are no landline phones in the case of an emergencyy, personal cell phones will have to be used.
  • Any threats on social media will be monitored and reported to local authorities.
  • Please make the venue staff aware of any family issues, restraining orders, or safety concerns you may have ahead of your event at the 30-day walkthrough.

9.  Post Event

  • If items are left, we will contact you to arrange pick-up within 30 days.
  • The damage deposit will be returned within 14-15 days of the event if there are no damages incurred.
